2-hr traffic jam as bus breaks down

Hundreds of tourists and daily commuters, including school students, headed towards Kasauli and Shimla remained stranded in a traffic jam for more than two hours on main bazaar, National Highway 22, here today.

A school bus broke down on the narrow turn near Kali Mata temple around 7 am. Subsequently, long queues of traffic could be seen on the both ends of the highway towards Parwanoo barrier and Pinjore BDPO office.

Students of various schools, who were to appear in the half yearly exams, were the worst sufferers.
