RS10 Project: “Preventing Drink Driving” Workshop For Taxi Operators & Drivers

ArriveSAFE on behalf of GRSP (Global Road Safety Partnership), with the support Jalandhar Traffic Police conducted the Workshop highlighting the adverse and serious consequences of drunken driving. Nearly 200 Taxi Operators and Drivers attended the Workshop.

With the festival and marriage season starting, the passengers tempt the Taxi Drivers to have a few drinks putting everyone at risk. They were appraised on how Drunken-Driving adversely affects us financially, socially, emotionally and physically besides the serious legal consequences.

ACP/Traffic, Mr. Parminder Singh Bhandal, Harman Singh Sidhu, Manmohan Luthra Prof. Sharad Manocha and Prof. Anup were amongst the prominent speakers. Messages by stand-up Comedian, Buta Singh and by Police Constables from Punjab Armed Police acting, as “Marasis” were a special attraction.
